A taste of the past, this used to be common housing for the soldiers and their families. They've refurbished the interior to several purposes, 1 block has a indoor playground for children, 1 is a bookstore cum cafe cum theatre, the middle block is a museum which I highly recommend. Free to enter, and a good respite from the heat outdoors.

Spent an hr here taking photos and enjoying the aircon. Captions are mostly in Mandarin so might be challenging for people who can't read Mandarin, but still worth visiting, the displays are pretty much self-explanatory, just giving you a glimpse of the lifestyle back then such as the living room, kitchen and mama store. From the courtyard area, it gives a good view of Taipei 101 too.

Our driver took us here as this has the most unblocked view of the entire 101 building that you can take pictures from. We had fun climbing the tunnel grassy structures to pose and take pics of ourselves amidst the background of the 101 building. We saw many families just chilling out around the park as well, sitting on the grassy tunnel structures. There were many historical dated buildings around but we didn't have time to stroll around as we were on a tight time schedule.

Lovely place and a good spot to take pictures of Taipei 101 too. There was a little market with handcraft products which was awesome. Toilet was clean.
