Original northern style Chinese food that we had when I was a child. Braised pork with baked sesame bun is  really delicious. Braised pork is really tender and juiced. It is one of the best braised pork I’ve ever had. We also had walnuts baked pancake as desert. It is so delicious too.

Amazing! I ordered the shredded pork on cabbage (so good), beef and green onions (probably my favorite.. it has a slight char burned taste), the seafood dumplings, the side of carrot and garlic, and the sweet and sour soup. See pictures - they're very obvious what is what.

Everything (minus the sweet and sour soup) was delicious.. actually it was probably the best Chinese food I've ever had. There was definitely a language barrier, because I ordered 2 things, and the server kept "asking anything else"? I was actually ordering the small portion size, and I was asking "am I ordering too much food?" She didn't understand, but the answer was: yes, I over-ordered way too much food. But no surprise, I finished almost everything (except the soup). It's sooo good. Wish I could have tried the scallion pancakes (you have to order that 3 days in advance.. seriously, no joke - look at the note on my menu pic)

This restaurant’s signature dishes are the fried pork balls and the pork.
We didn’t make a reservation.We went there at 5 pm.
It has limited time, only an hour for 2.

No one came to the table order for us until we asked, that was around 15 mins past since we sat down.

We ordered some snacks which they already made, but still waited for another 20 mins to have all of food we ordered on the table.
The food such as pork balls and the pancake roll weren’t hot.Tasted like they cooked for a while.

Don’t understand what all the fuss is about. Yes, the shredded pork is nice but that’s about it. The big bowl of noodle soup was a rather flat tasting and when I asked for chili sauce the waitress didn’t understand me. Upstairs was full (and very noisy), so they asked me to sit downstairs which is a rather depressing space with brown tiles and furniture from the 1970’s.
