Best Turkish food I’ve had outside of Turkey. Owner and his wife are very pleasant. No detail is overlooked. They are deserving of a Michelin star. Definitely stop in for a fantastic meal.

Authentic Turkish cuisine is not easy to come by in Taiwan, so we were very happy to find this restaurant!

They have an extensive menu as well as quite a number of off-menu cold dishes that you can choose at the counter by the kitchen.

The lamb was especially delicious!

Highly recommend checking Izmir out if you’re a fan of Mediterranean food.

We went to Izmir for dinner with a group of friends.  I normally don’t like lamb much but theirs was delicious.

I'm in love with Turkish food and especially so after having visited Turkey this year. This place is definitely authentic and offers good quality and above average Turkish dishes (compared to the many places I've tried in NYC). What makes a Turkish restaurant stand out to me is its mezze. This restaurant has a wide variety of mezzes to choose from and particularly worthy to note are the muhammara, saksuka (my favorite Turkish mezze!), and the fava beans. The ezmesi had a strong kick for those who like spicy food. I didn't like the thin bread (yufka) as much as it was too crispy for me. The main dishes were nice too, Beyti kebab was unique. Impressed for desserts they offer künefe which is uncommon on the menu outside of Turkey since it's hard to make. It was pretty decent (better than künefe I could find in NYC!).
