It was a short trip to Taipei, and just want to eat Spanish food. Jarana surprised me a lot, not only the food but also the service.
🗺️Place/location not easy to find but take taxi won't be a problem (for me)
🏠Atmosphere was quite cozy a bit small, only have echo when people talk and it's bothering me
💁Service is really nice, waitress, waiters are nice, you just show one blink they will come to you and check on your needs😂😂 should I say...it's Taiwanese still ❤️ love it.
🧑‍🍳 Chef is very friendly as well, not just explained my dishes but also take care my feelings, make me feel I'm not alone dining which I was alone, and make me enjoy more of my dinning journey.

This is definitely one of the top tapas restaurants in Taipei.  Every dish comes with delicacy.  Delicioso !! Only tried a few dishes on the menu.   The soup and paella are my top choices.  Of course you cannot beat Iberico jamon.  Going back for more dishes by ALL means.

Jarana is a must try gem in Taipei. I first came for Christmas dinner and the joy I felt from the food, atmosphere, and heartwarming service has easily made it one of my fave spots in the city. Jarana means “carnival, celebration, party” and you feel that joy from the second you walk in and when you leave.

The flavors of each dish are clear and well balanced, while still feeling homey. A difficult feat that Chef Dani and his team pull off well. I highly recommend the gambas al Ajillo (garlic shrimp), salmon tartare with a Bloody Mary twist, and of course, the seafood paella.

The almond cake is one of the best I’ve had. I dream about it and also need to go back for the famous cheesecake cake.

I LOVED this restaurant !  Great service Great food.

We went there for our friends birthday, my wife had been there several times before and wanted to bring me so she setup a birthday dinner there.

One of the things I've always wanted to do was make a great Paella.  The chef said if I ever wanted to go there to learn, he would be happy to teach me and would be more than happy to give me the recipe.  I'll have to try it someday when I'm not so busy.  But I LOVED his passion about cooking ! :). His paella was fantastic.  I probably could have eaten the whole thing myself (by I'm trying to diet :)

I definitely want to go back again...I'll let the photos speak for themselves.

By the way, you have to try the cheese cake.  It's special !
Try his duck noodle dish too...it was REALLY good.
