Interesting variant of a Taipei night market. This one has an enclosed room overhead even though it’s “open-air” on the sides. It has a bit of a musty smell to it, especially because it was raining during our visit.

There are a lot of small shops and massage places, but also plenty of small restaurants for food. We stopped at one for fried rice and another for dessert.

There’s also scooters passing inside on the walkway so be careful.

For some reason this night market attract fewer people. But after walking through the night market I think the reason is all the food that they offer are not very inviting.
Especially if you walk into the building of the night market Street that 75% of the store are made of foot massage store, which is kind of sad because in the old days there are many different type of stores you could browse through and they weren't any foot massage stores.

I thought this night market was not bad. For one it’s open during the day so you can come here and eat throughout the day and night. It’s also somewhat on the inside as opposed to the outside which I also liked.

The night market is split into two parts, both under cover with cool lighting. The first part consists of many massage parlors and snake soup. The second part has more food stalls but lacks variety. The Guangzhou night market is connected to this market and I'd recommend going there instead though if you wanted a massage then feel free to stop here - you have your pick and they all charge the same price.

An interesting street that has lots of eateries including a highly recommended Wang’sBroth braised pork rice 小王煮瓜 滷肉飯 & a hidden gem Chinese bookstore 源進.

There are endless massage parlours, beauty & nail services salons within. Check reviews for comparisons. Prices seem similar.

Close by is the famous Lung Shan Temple, definitely worth a visit to this area.
