Went here upon knowing it’s a Michelin star restaurant. It didn’t disappoint! My ultra-favorite was the rice cube (?) with pork cuts. Savory, tasty, and flavorful! This is something you should not miss when in Kaohsiung!

This place serves mainly a pork glutinous rice dish with several soups like the egg pork soup, salted vege duck soup, bitter-gourd pork soup & and fried pork soup. It is like a fast food restaurant; you order and pay, then 1-2 min later, they place your order on the plastic tray, you get your condiments at the small table & then you walk 5m away to a dining area facing the river to enjoy the delicious food. Food is simple but well prepared with quality ingredients that’s why it tastes so good!

Way too many people long line ordering food and long line  waiting for seat, So we get carry out. After we got our food then we saw a friends of our. We sit down with them, One of the cleaning table old lady yell at us. saying we can't eat there because we have carryout package. My friends said just sit she can't do anything, (The whole place were looking at us). food just like other place is ok, YouTuber pump it up. I had better else where. NOT GOING THERE AGAIN!

November 2024 : nice and chilly weather so it’s good to eat this outdoors.

Yummy but sells out fast. Was there at 7ish on a weekday night and the steamed egg soup was already sold out. Everything sold out even before the opening hours were supposed to end.
Really liked the rice and the salted veg duck soup. Very flavourful. Locals used to eat there too until it got too crowded. Note the rice has dried shrimps in it.
