The chicken thigh with crispy garlic and the grilled pork neck are must try dishes. Chicken wings and papaya salad were also good. Service is a little chaotic and confusing but it is an authentic experience.

I liked the local vibe and the food here as the flavours were spot on food but the service was chaotic which affected the overall experience. I arrived just before 12pm when it was busy with locals. The ordering process was a little confusing but I was given a paper to mark my order. The chicken wings arrived quickly but the papaya salad took 50 minutes which was frustrating and I had to follow up many times. Despite the delays, the wings were perfectly cooked and the som tam was spicy yet well balanced.

Horrible experience, I had hope the food would be mind shattering to compensate the service, but it was just good.

I ordered the Som Tam with Blue Crab and Som Tam with Pork Neck. But only the Pork Neck Som Tam came. That took 50 minutes to arrive.

Then we waited for the Blue Crab, to find out they ran out and didn’t inform us about it. Another 15 minutes wasted waiting.

Thankfully there were some customer to help bridge the communication barrier.

Their service is just plain stupid, there’s no proper process in place to handle everything.

I don’t mind that the environment is not clean, but come on, the service was just horrendous.

If travelers want to come here, please bring a Thai Speaker, that would help with the process

Followed Mark Weins recommendations for this place. Walked an hour to find it, did the big park enroute.
My oh my, Mark was right!!
Got there 11am, had whole place to myself. Joy and her staff are wonderful and the food…. Well back in Bangkok next week and straight back to this place!!
Travel, find it. Thank Mark n me later…. 50/10 a true Thai experience!!

So yummy home-cooked meal; authentic & value for money. Friendly staff & neighbourhood. Was taking up space of neighbours' entrance & parking lots, but the kampong spirits max, no hostility only accommodating from All parties, eat in peace & full contentment. Luv luv luv
