We came here as it was one of the Michelin’s bib gourmet guides so we thought we will give it a go. We had a bottle of water as it was a hot day and we were told as soon as we walked in to put the bottles behind somewhere which to me felt a little over the top. The sofa we sat was really low and was not comfortable  for the eating. Tempura dish was very greasy and full of oil taste. We had a selection of starters and main courses which all came so fast that we did not have space to put any food on the table which was quite uncomfortable service. Pad Thai was too sweet. Fried mushrooms was nice so as two rice dishes we had. Overall I am not sure if I’d choose to go there if I had other choices as I felt it was more looks than substance in terms of the food and was missing some heart and soul.

Absolutely delicious and such a beautiful and charming restaurant. An absolute must visit when in Bangkok on such a pretty little café lined and tree lined street close to the W Hotel.

Definitely some of the best Thai food we’ve had while here and we’ve been to some truly incredible places. Mr Thu was especially helpful and spoke English and could not have been nicer.  Ask for their secret menu from their also very cool restaurant upstairs and have the Hong Kong seared beef - pro tip! The place fills up quickly at lunch so either try booking or be flexible and come back when they have space. You won’t regret it!

Easily the one of the all time top restaurants in Bangkok that I’ve been to. Ambience is perfect, upbeat and chill with a deejay playing all the right tunes, lighting is lively. Food is spectacular, everything we ordered was legit good - so pick and choose as you will! Hahah :)

Tenderloin was tender but had lots of unchewable fibre veins.  Had to spit them out.  2/5.

Fried pork belly was like leftover roast pork fried again.  Cold hard chewy.  Not sure of it's meant to be this way. 1/5

Crab curry was good.  Pricey for a few small chunks of canned crab meat. Curry was tasty.  4/5

Omelette was good not overly greasy but hard to get this wrong anyway. 4/5

Tom yum soup was good not life changing.  Also hard to get this wrong.  5/5.

Ambience was good hip fashionable 4/5

The best Thai food we've had in Bangkok. Dishes like grilled beef, crab curry and milky fish soup here are better than what we had in Michelin guide restaurants specializing in those dishes. Booking process through their website is painful though, better to just do phone booking.
