Jag hade den absolut mest fantastiska tiden på Lebua hotel och deras barer! Min server John var otrolig och följde mig till de bästa utsiktsplatserna och gav mig så många roliga fakta om hotellet och filmen som spelades in där. Gick hit för en drink på vår kväll i Bangkok. Jag tyckte att det var klibbigt med hög musik som spelades för att ge en nattklubb vibe. Det skulle gynna bättre musik att skapa en klassiskare vibe. Vi försökte olika takbarer i Bangkok men detta var ingen trevlig upplevelse. För att komma till hissen går du genom en öde köpcentrum typ plats. Sedan värdar sätter dig i en hiss. Min dotters och deras pojkvänner flöts bort innan mina föräldrar och jag kom in i hissen. Vi togs sedan upp och hälsades av cirka 8 hostesses som väntar utanför hissen. Vi sa att vi gick med de andra i vårt parti i taket bar som de inledde oss tillbaka till en hiss och tog oss nedåt och sedan ut till andra värdinnor på en annan våning. Det är först nu när jag förbereder mig för att skriva den här recensionen att jag inser att vi faktiskt inte var på takbaren vi bad om att gå till. När vi gick med de andra såg de alla väldigt obekväma ut och visade oss prislistan. Varje dryck var utpressad. Mina döttrar hade vatten och deras pojkvänner hade en cocktail, en var 30 den andra 40. Det billigaste glaset som jag hade var 25 och mina föräldrar hade en vodka och koks för 25 vardera som faktiskt serverades i plastglas. Vyn var fantastisk liksom tjänsten - runt 4 anställda till ett bord och en eskort till toaletten, när någon använde toaletten skulle en städare komma rakt in (alla smula över toppen). Men jag vet inte varför de behöver ta ut så mycket för drinkarna, det känns ganska girigt, kanske för att baren hade varit i en film men som jag säger inleddes vi till den här baren som inte hade gjort det. Jag skulle inte rekommendera någon att komma hit eftersom vi hade fantastisk utsikt i andra takbarer med lika bra service, mer jordnära och avslappnade och mycket trevligare cocktails. Jag beklagar bara att vi inte lämnade direkt.

Hittills i Bangkok har vi inte blivit imponerade av cocktails. Sedan kom vi till denna plats. Cyril och Sabine är så passionerad om cocktails och dryckerna i denna bar är verkligen enastående och världsklass. Vi var initialt skeptiska till denna plats eftersom det är 10 våningar lägre än sky bar men jag tror verkligen att de mer kända barer är en fälla. Detta är den bästa cocktailbaren i Bangkok, och den har en fantastisk utsikt.
