An absolutely incredible experience!
A magnificent place with an equally amazing team, always there to guide us, full of humor, super friendly, and providing detailed explanations.
It’s a truly wonderful sanctuary where the elephants roam freely and are never forced to do anything.
We were lucky enough to meet the sanctuary’s newest baby, already three years old, and they taught us everything we needed to know about elephants.
Did you know that elephants spend about 16 to 20 hours a day eating? The team explains this and much more fascinating facts that many people may not know.
I highly recommend spending a day there it’s an extremely ethical experience!

Ethical treatment of animals, amazing staff (seriously wonderful humans!!!) and one of my favorite experiences in Thailand!!

The elephants will amaze you. But the love and care they are shown is even more impressive! And the food is great too!!

10/10 experience and please go support such a great establishment!!

We had a great time. So much fun to be around these animals. We took the morning program. Feeding, washing and mud bath. And yes.. their behavior in certain extent catered to the tourists.. but in decent way. Even my daughters who are critic to animal use for human purposes thought it was OK. Recommendable!

Had a wonderful time at the sanctuary this morning and our guide was Soon. Soon was professional and very helpful. A Thai native, he was well spoken and speaks good English. The 6 female elephants were a joy to watch and feed. They were playful and love to eat. We also get to find out how we can make use of elephants poop to make paper, cards and many more paper produces! It’s amazing! We enjoyed ourselves tremendously and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to get close and personal with elephants!

We absolutely loved the elephant jungle sanctuary! This was such a special unforgettable experience in Chiang Mai. The tour guides were very friendly/funny. On arrival, they spoke a little bit about the itinerary and how to approach the elephants, we then had a photo opportunity where we fed them bananas! Later we watched them roam around and then had a mud bath with them in the river. The elephants seemed happy and calm, there didn’t seem to be any unethical practices and they were very well looked after.

The lunch was okay, it had a vegetarian option and was simple rice, veg noodles, a chicken dish and some fruit.
The only slightly annoying thing was that we were picked up 20 mins late and were dropped off late so we missed the first 15 mins or so of the talk with the tour guide!
100% recommend overall.
