Celebrated my Birthday last Saturday, my friend canceled but I still went by myself.  I went early at 5pm.  My waiter Guy was the best....at that time he assisted with picking my table, became a bartender, became a Waiter AND acted as a Manager.  He made the evening !!!  Chef Luca and his Kitchen staff produced  dishes that had my taste buds dancing, so good.  Thank you to ALL.  To Marriott Management:  Please put Guy in a fast track Management program,,,, He will be phenomenal in his future endeavors with Marriott.

One of the best Italian places I’ve been in the world. The food was absolutely delicious, at a pretty reasonable price for fine dining.

Unfortunately, this is the most mediocre food  I had in Thailand. The ravioli was supposed to be filled with gorgonzola but that flavour was definitely absent. The 4-cheese pizza was meh as well. On top of these issues, Favola is a relatively expensive restaurant. One could easily find a cheaper and better food easily in Chiang Mai.

The service and atmosphere were good though.

Everything was perfectly arranged.  Italian Food selection ok and very well and tasty prepared. Portion size ok. Staff are helpful and supportive. We will come back

I like a nice restaurant in a sleek hotel. One might call the atmosphere cold, but I thought it was classy, and the service maybe not top-notch but everyone was so friendly. I even returned as I was in the mood for simple and good Italian dishes, but one problem persisted and got worse the second time around: the food, while not cheap and theoretically of good quality, is not prepared well. Under-seasoned, under-salted, everything a touch bland. Too bad, this has potential.
