Amazing "nest" in the heart of Chiang Mai. Much more interesting than a standard 5 stars. A true boutique hotel with a beautiful stylish design and set up. Homely feeling and wonderful staff that is attentive but leaves you the space to make this place your own. Class &  luxury. The restaurant is divine too, even if the spice level is tone down to satisfy western travellers.

I’ve stayed in so many hotels, but no where I’ve stayed before has the same feeling as Rachamankha. It seems to encourage quiet from guests, and the atmosphere is calm and still despite being in Chiang Mai’s chaotic Old Town.
The pool is amazing also, and the first time I walked through the courtyard to my room there was a scent that I couldn’t work out was from the flowers or from the hotel itself.
It’s not for everybody, as it’s quite a particular place to stay - but I can’t wait to go back.

Quiet and comfortable place. The service is superb. The room is small and no bathtub. Food is great. The pool is 1.2~1.7m deep.
If I visit ChiangMai I'll stay here again.

It is a really amazing experience that I didn't expect! It feels like Disneyland in a good way, but we literally love this place, and I never thought about it in Chiangmai.
The architecture and interior are magnificent.
We love everything: the room, service, breakfast and dinner 🍽️

Beautiful, serene restored boutique property littered with antiques, picturesquely uneven walls and bare cement floors encircling manicured courtyards. Don’t forget to explore the beautiful library and the museum above the dining room and bar. There is also a decent sized pool to swim in and relax around.
Meals are served in a pretty courtyard, with a fire when it is cool and peaceful live local instrumental music at night. There is a small but well curated continental selection and good cooked selection to order at breakfast. I’d only avoid the waffles and the muffins, which appear to have been commercially sourced. Dinner was very enjoyable with a selection of Thai and Western food, although we did not try the latter. Food and drinks are reasonably priced considering the ambience.
Last but not least, we experienced only amazing service, as we have come to expect in Chiang Mai.
The only negatives were distinctly minor: mosquitos (normal for Chiang Mai), the shower leaked around the shower barrier and there was no well lit shaving mirror.
