delighted to have discovered this southern-style restaurant. The moment you step inside, you’re enveloped by the familiar aroma of smelly beans, which is used in southern Thai cuisine.

The food lived up to expectations. The curry was spot-on, the vegetables and shrimp chili were delicious, and the chili is quite spicy. Every dish was authentic and well-prepared.

While the portions were a bit small, it actually allowed us to try more dishes from the extensive menu. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with the food and would highly recommend this restaurant. It’s definitely worth a visit!

Great food and service overall. Staffs can speak good English. Food portion is not big that makes the price seems expensive, but it may be understandable considering it’s recommended by the Michelin Guide. The cocoa tastes bland.

Good southern food in Cnx but not great.   Foods are quite fresh, tasty and not too hot as expected or like the traditional southern food.  Some are quite a bit sweet as fried squid in the black ink.  They also have herb drinks to serve.  You will not wait for too long after ordering.  Parking is not many but not difficult to find.   It is very worth to stop by and taste here. I recommended. (Even it might cause us 🤢🤢🤮 the day after.

All the food we ordered was excellent.
This restaurant is 2023 Michelin
The stir fried squid in quid ink has lemon grass and Asian flour touch in it. Very tasty.
Braised pork would go well with rice.
Stir fried noodle is very good too.

It’s hidden gem to find this Southern food in Chiang Mai. Our recommendation is to come here and we didn’t feel disappointed. All dish are excellent cooking and tasty. I love the yellow curry that not too spicy to eat and keep authentic taste of spicy and sour. Other dishes like slow cooked pork belly, Spicy stir friend minced pork and fried Mieng veggie are nice. The least favorite is crab chili which a bit too dry. Price is reasonable and all staffs and owner are friendly.
