We visited Jae Sim Restaurant with high expectations, especially after it received the Michelin Bib Gourmand recognition. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The flavors and cooking styles lacked depth and sophistication. Most dishes were overly sweet, plain, and visually unappealing.

- The **fried fish** was excessively oily, making it unpleasant to eat.
- The **stir-fried prawns** were overwhelmingly sweet, overshadowing the natural flavor of the seafood.
- The **mango and mackerel salad** was mushy and cannot seem to strike a balance between dry fish and the vibrant freshness of mango.
- The **fried chicken** was ordinary with out of a bottle commercial dipping sauce offering nothing special compared to what you’d find at any roadside eatery in Thailand.

Overall, the food felt comparable to standard street food rather than a restaurant worthy of Michelin recognition. It’s hard to understand how this restaurant earned its Bib Gourmand status.

Plenty of parking is available onsite. This restaurant does not accept booking ok weekend. We arrive around 11am no waiting time. However, around midday there was queue. We really enjoyed the food there and the service was pleasant.
