If you are in Bangkok, you must not skip the view of Wat Arun. You don't need to enter the temple in order to shoot this beautiful house of worship. Its architecture is breathtaking, mindblowing.

I need to note this for tourists. There are many viewpoints of Arun, and this is not the only place. I am not sure why this was marked as the viewpoint. The other viewpoint is empty, and you'd still achieve a good shot of it.

Once you are done, hop by any hipster cafes or pay slightly more for rooftop bars. 🍸 Observe the old hidden lanes surrounding this. You will discover housing for the local elderly.

Gorgeous view at night!  This was around 8 pm in early Feb. Take MRT Blue Line to exit Sanam Chai station, towards Museum Siam. Short walk to the spot or can take tuk tuk.  Nearby Wat Pho closes at 7:30 pm, so not crowded. The local shops and vendors were closing up.

Perfect point to see Wat Arun by night. It is accessible for free. Strongly suggest to visit!
