Lively atmosphere where you don’t need to feel like you’ve got to whisper in the restaurant. I enjoyed watching the chefs at work. Love the modern take on Thai food while still keeping its essence!

Feature of local wines was great although it did take some getting used to some of the tastes, but isn’t that what exploring is all about?

Overall we enjoyed our meal and experience here. We had 2 groups celebrating birthdays here and the vibe was lively and great! But if you like to dine in a quiet place, maybe don’t come here.

We had an incredible dinner here last night for my birthday - every dish was just insane and we personally loved the relaxed approach to service and the staff were great! We ate at another Michelin ⭐️ in Bangkok the night before which was more fine dining and this is not this so if you are looking for that style of dining this place maybe isn’t for you.
Really loved the rice wine and the complimentary digestif and I know a tiny touch but the water (still or sparkling) is also complimentary. Menu highlights were the beef cheek in broth and the chicken skewer with the coconut dipping sauce. Plus the lobster ! To be honest I loved every course and the description of the inspiration behind it.
Also loved the fact that we left not feeling like we needed a gastric band, there is an art in not making the guests too full, perfect amount of food and everything was just so banging.
Loved the chilled vibe and the food really speaks for itself self. Also didn’t mind at all that the food comes out quickly, there is a lot to get through ! Highly recommend

For authentic chef-driven Thai in Bangkok it doesn’t get any better than this. Samrub Samrub strikes the perfect balance of creative and traditional to serve up a delicious Thai meal in a friendly communal setting.

Dinner is served at the same time to all diners so it’s essential to be on time both to enjoy the experience and out of respect for the team.

After a  few quick starters the main courses are served in a sequence around a bowl of rice, Samrub-style in Thai.

Standouts on this menu were the amazing and deeply flavorful beef curry and the refreshing chicken salad.  The shrimp paste was fascinating with a different depth of flavor in every bite.  All dishes were flawless and showed an exceptional use of top ingredients and perfect balance of flavor and spice.

Limit drink pairing options are available but plenty of good choices to match the food.  Service is professional and friendly with a full knowledge of all the dishes served.

Since most seating is at a communal counter, best for groups of 3 or fewer.  Book well in advance as it’s extraordinarily popular.  Worth the effort in every way!!

The food is creative with natural ingredients. Love the concept of representing Thai ingredients which showcase our authenticity and culture.

To me, the tastes are ok, seems varied through seasons as my friends who went there often felt that the other time menu were better. (Went during November.

With several dishes served and free rice serving, so you can get very full from the course menu.

The atmosphere is a bit too basic for the interior.

Underwhelming experience a restaurant for this price. Taste is tailored for westerners and too much fried dishes that were too oily for my liking and had no flavor. Many small hidden chilies in almost every dish that took away from the taste. The only dish that we liked was the first crab appetizer. For reference, this was the revisit, rethink, recreate seasonal menu.

Service did not feel the most welcoming and was not helpful with the parking situation while there busy chatting together instead of being attentive to the customer.

Atmosphere is stale.
