I’ve been hearing about this place for years and was really excited to try it, but honestly, it didn’t quite meet my expectations. The seafood, including the shrimp, crab, and squid, was large with firm meat, but it lacked the natural sweetness that I had anticipated. The shrimp, in particular, had one with runny roe, while the other didn’t feel as fresh, which was quite disappointing.

The seasoning on the cooked dishes was overly sweet and didn't allow the natural flavors of the seafood to shine through. Unfortunately, this made everything taste somewhat similar. Even the stir-fried vegetables didn’t quite hit the mark. The seafood dipping sauce also didn’t have the bold, zesty kick I was expecting—it was a bit too sweet for my liking.

If I lived in the city, I’m afraid I wouldn’t make the effort to drive all the way here for this meal. The taste, though not unpleasant, didn’t leave a strong impression. Moreover, given the price, there are many other options in town that offer fresher, more flavorful dishes.

As for the restaurant itself, it offers ample parking, making it a good choice for large groups or family gatherings. The space is clean, spacious, and has a pleasant glass-walled dining area. The air-conditioning was comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was inviting. However, the staff, though polite, seemed a bit slow to respond to requests, and I found myself having to ask several people for assistance multiple times.

This was my second time here. We arrived there around 2 pm.
No queue as we were only 2 people. We ordered 4 dishes.The food came so fast.We waited 5-10 minutes and 3 dishes came. The price were higher than my 1st time last year.However,good quality remained..
They didnot accept credit card ,only
cash and prompt pay.

My favourite ones for today was Crab in salty egg sauce ... be careful the price is 790Baht T-T..  However,next time, I will order it because it was so creamy ...

We were planning to go to another place but it was closed. We came for the crab roe cooked in milk but they already ran out. It was only 12:30pm and they opened at 10:30am. Ordered river prawns and it comes butterflied with its head butter, chili shrimp, crab fried rice, squid in salted egg sauce and steamed cockles. My favorite was the crab fried rice. Came with big lumps of crab. Surprisingly, I loved the squid with the salted egg sauce. Creamy and umami flavor. Squid was cooked well. They have air-conditioned rooms so no worries about being uncomfortable. I did not like the cockles. They tried blanching it a little bit more but it was not for me. Only cash payments here. Whats funny is they kept making sure I understood that they only accept cash 😅

This restaurant is a must-visit! The seafood is incredibly fresh, sweet, and firm—it really stands out. Don’t miss the Soft-Boiled Cockles, they’re perfectly cooked and full of flavor, or the Steamed Egg Crab with Fresh Milk, which is so creamy and delicious. Everything is reasonably priced and absolutely worth it!

Kin Kub Koi is probably the best local Thai seafood restaurant west of Bangkok. They serve super fresh and premium seafood ingredients. Everything we’ve ordered was delicious and the crab, clams, and oysters were cooked on point.  The steamed crab was full of crab roe and meaty as well. The fried rice with shrimp past was so good, we can’t stop eating this even though it was too spicy for us.

The dessert sold outside was very yummy, you can buy them and eat them inside.

Ambiance was typical local Thai seafood restaurant but very clean and plenty of staff around ready to help.

There are plenty of parking outside.
