I’ve always enjoyed coming to Zuma Bangkok, especially for their fantastic Bollinger Sunday brunch. This was our first time visiting on a Saturday night, and while the food and service were up to their usual high standard, the atmosphere wasn’t quite what we expected.

We initially wanted to go with the free-flow package, but were informed by staff that it started at 8:30 pm, with food and drinks served over a two-hour period. So instead, we decided to go with the tasting menu, which did not disappoint. The food was outstanding as always, and the service was excellent.

However, the atmosphere on Saturday night was a bit challenging. The music was very loud, to the point where we struggled to hear each other. In a restaurant like Zuma, where people come to enjoy great food, drinks, and good conversation, it was disappointing to find ourselves shouting just to communicate. This would also make it difficult for any sort of business discussion.

At the end, we asked the manager if they could turn down the music. She offered us a private room, which required a minimum spend that we had already met, so we decided to move. While this was an improvement, even in the private room, the volume was still pretty loud despite our request to turn it down as much as possible.

For anyone planning to come on a weekend night, just be prepared for the louder atmosphere. Otherwise, Zuma continues to impress with its quality of food and attentive service.

This restaurant has an amazing atmosphere right from the moment you walk in you already feel that the experience is going to be superb!
The food is delicious the waiters are very kind which also add to the atmosphere.
All the food is fresh and beautifully served!

That was my second time in Zuma BKK. We took a tasting menu and I have to say not bad. Even if it is not considered fine dining they did a good job. Everything was tasty and visually appealing. The concept of Zuma is to do a bit of a show, and I like it! if it comes to food, focusing a tiny bit more on the content would help though. Going very often to fine dining and Michelin restaurants, this is what I can compare of what I've learned so far from tasting menus: portions are way too big for a 12 course tasting menu. A regular Salad (leafs, radish) is, well, I don't know if necessary  in a tasting menu as well as the miso soup. The corn was okay but also is filling quite a bit as it is still a carb as a starchy food. Without those it would have been enough already and focused on the best pieces. In total to make it a quality tasting experience, only a few adjustments and it would be on a good level. Usually I don't like macreles but it was super tasty not too fishy  which was surprising. The rest was good as always. Meat and fish was on point. I did like the dessert the most but it's a matter of taste which ones the best  ))  at a later hour there was a party vibe going on with drinks an good mood on the neighbor tables. I felt it's a good choice for a drinks night too on a weekend which is smart thing to achieve as a restaurant. If I would book a group, I would do the same. Good food, good vibe, good DJ. Always a pleasure to visit any Zuma restaurant.

Great place with nice atmosphere and service. The food choices we had were all amazing , the seafood gyoza, the salad, chu toro slices, tuna tataki, the sweet corn, the maki rolls although very small in size but tasted so good. Chilean sea bass was so good too. The service was notably quick too and we finished the meal in almost half an hour. Would come again for sure….

I recently dined at Zuma Bangkok and had a very disappointing meal. Our reservation was for 11:00 PM, but the restaurant closes the kitchen at 11:15 PM. This resulted in the staff rushing our service and being extremely rude. They literally threw the food down on the table, despite us being a party of 4 seated at a table fit for 10.

When I complained to the manager about the poor service, she gave excuses instead of taking responsibility. She claimed the kitchen's early closing was the reason for the staff's bad manners, and that the large table was the one they had seated us at. I pointed out that if they cannot properly serve large tables, they should not be seating parties in them.

The food quality was also very subpar. My steak, which I ordered medium rare, came out rare. Other dishes were served cold. And when I asked for silverware, the waiter rushed over and simply dropped it on the table, not even providing a napkin for me to place it on.

Overall, this was a terrible dining experience from start to finish. The staff were unprofessional, the excuses from management were unacceptable, and the food quality was poor. I would not recommend Zuma Bangkok to anyone. There are many better dining options in the area that provide quality service and food. Save your money and go elsewhere.
