Using The bikes and go carts makes it a positive place to visit if you keep at a healthy pace. More expensive for tourists. The money seems to go to good use in support of what looks like a zoo that's bettering itself. Since there were renovations happening. The building with A/C few and far in-between. The deer seem to have the run of the place and make sure to keep your camera ready at the bird exhibit, I walked through the wood walkway with the sun shining through the green translucent roof while it wasn't busy. As I walked I had birds flying past this corridor at head height. The green tint aura and the brightly colored birds would make it an awesome photo opportunity.

The zoo is a wonderful place to visit for both locals and tourists. There is a foreigner price like most attractions in Thailand but it is clearly posted on every sign and very reasonable price too. Staff were all really nice, all the animals looks happy and healthy. We rented a couple of golf carts too which were a very good price too. The Zoo was huge and we couldn't see everything we wanted to so if you do come I recommend giving yourself at least 2 hours to explore. The water park is also a nice addition however when we visited the 2 biggest rides were closed. We had a really fun time and would recommend here to anyone.

Closes at 5pm, recommend to come latest at 3pm if you want to discover the entire zoo.
If foreigners don’t want to pay the “foreigner” entry fees then don’t come. Don’t come if you can’t afford to pay ~USD$12 and then get upset about it. Shameful.

It was fine. Some animals were no where to be seen, like the tigers.
Otherwise it was a little confusing on the routes.

Recommended to rent a bicycle at ฿30/hr.

Great zoo with great exhibits, but things are getting a little run down with age. This zoo would have been absolutely gorgeous 30 years ago, so look at it with those eyes - see what it was when it opened and appreciate that they are doing the best they can to keep the animals happy with what they have to work with. It's large so recommend renting a golf cart.

Good for a family visit, easy to navigate, and the animals appeared in good health. Enclosures were large for most animals, which was a relief to see, as animal welfare should be a priority at any zoo. The signage is in the native language, so not as foreign tourist friendly in that regard.
