Heard the place highly reputed, we dropped in for lunch. It’s almost 02.30 pm, the wait was just a few minutes. We ordered 5 dishes and waited over 15 minutes to be served, though not too busy. Thai Curry with River Snail and Betel Leaf really lived up to its name, but the rest were simply so so. Overall, it’s a good place to try, but you might consider going elsewhere if the queue is taking too long. You won’t miss much.

Only 1 fly during entire dinner. Advice to sit away from the fields and also to have a fan blow direct. The antique handheld games brought back memories. The shop owner has let a jackfruit plant grow through his shop house, without chopping it down. Admirable!

I decided to visit Krua Kampan after seeing it recommended online, but I have to say, it was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. The food might have been okay, but the appallingly bad service completely overshadowed everything. I honestly regret wasting my time and money here.

From the moment we stepped in, the staff made it clear we weren’t welcome. Their faces were cold and unfriendly, and they acted like serving us was a chore. When it came to ordering, the attitude was even worse. Instead of being helpful or professional, they were rude, dismissive, and clearly annoyed by even the simplest questions. It was shocking how little effort they put into making customers feel comfortable.

The food was just average—not bad, but certainly not good enough to make up for the terrible service. Honestly, the experience was so frustrating that I couldn’t even enjoy the meal properly. Restaurants are supposed to provide a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere, but this place made me feel like I was being rushed out the door.

I can’t stress this enough: avoid this place. There’s absolutely no reason to waste your time here when there are so many better options available. Even if the food were amazing (which it wasn’t), the disrespectful and careless attitude of the staff makes this restaurant an absolute no-go.

The vibe was 10/10, but I was too busy eating to take any pictures of the food. If you come in the evening, the view is stunning. As for the food, the taste was average—some dishes were delicious, while others were just okay. Personally, I really loved the sweet and sour stir-fried sea bass. The place was packed with diners, but the prices were pretty reasonable and easy on the wallet.
