Well, perhaps not the best of time during my visit on Mother’s Day. They could have been understaffed but looking for anyone to put in order was not the easiest when the restaurant probably had 4 tables occupied.

The decor is very quaint and they are located on the ground floor where the snack market and the gigantic food court are. I couldn’t find them the 1st round but it was easy to find coming down from the other escalator.

Everything that they put star on the menu was a safe choice from very good to excellent but the random fish’s innards soup wasn’t what I expected. I was expecting more umami and less bitter with more fish.
The crab meat in coconut milk is a must. That was delicious.

This is a small eatery located on the basement level of the Central Embassy Mall.  I stopped for lunch and was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed my lunch.  They had a pork with papaya salad special that was incredibly tasty.  The crunch of the pork combined with the spicy papaya was a fantastic paring.  The Chang beer was cold and the service was solid.  I recommend and enjoy.

In a word... Delish !
Ordered the salad rolls, crab fried rice, and chicken khao soi.  All were fantastic.  Our server was very good, and while it seemed like they were a bit short staffed, he did his best to get our orders to us as quickly as he could.  The only negative about this place is its locale.  Effectively you are in the basement of a shopping mall with views of the driveway/pickup area.

If I had more time in BKK, I'd be back to this Bangkok Bold.

I had the pleasure of trying a few dishes, starting with the Pomelo Salad. I chose this on the recommendation of a previous diner, and they were absolutely right—it was like a burst of freshness with every bite. The creamy peanut and toasted coconut balanced beautifully with the pomelo's natural tartness, making it incredibly refreshing. I’d give it a solid 5/5.

The Caramelised Coconut and Peanut Fresh Spring Rolls were another delightful choice. The combination of flavors was well-balanced, with a pleasing sweetness and crunch. It was satisfying and felt like a treat with each bite. This dish earned a 4.5/5 from me.

Finally, the Shrimp Paste and Toasted Coconut Fried Rice was, unfortunately, a bit of a letdown. While it was well-cooked, the flavor profile felt somewhat plain and didn’t stand out. It was decent but lacked the unique touch I was hoping for. I’d rate it 3.5/5.

Overall, a good experience with some standout dishes, especially the Pomelo Salad!
