We went there on a weekday and it wasn't packed, but I'm not sure if it would be on weekends. We walked in to buy tickets, but it's recommended to buy in advance if you plan to go on weekends. They do have audio guides to borrow, and inside, they sell fresh coconut water that's not expensive! You shouldn't wear sexy dresses or shorts that are too short, as they aren't allowed inside, but luckily, they do have sarongs to borrow. You just need to return them when you're done using them. Inside the building is really beautiful and not hot, with beautiful architecture. Thai people believe that passing under an elephant's belly will bring good luck, and my husband did that in the museum. Inside the museum is cool and shady, making it nice to stay for a while. They also have a waterfall, and it's not far from Bangkok!

We purchased our tickets in advance from an agency called "Roadtrip Thailand" as part of a combo deal for the Erawan Museum and Ancient City. The process was smooth—we simply showed the paper at the ticketing office and went on our way.

It was hot during our visit, so I recommend bringing a hat, a fan, and a pair of sunglasses for comfort.

We started by walking around the main Elephant building before entering the iconic 3-headed Elephant building. We followed the stations as directed and explored inside. It was a unique and memorable experience that I’d definitely recommend to tourists!

It's a small space consisting of a single building and a garden. On the lower floor, there’s a royal artifact exhibition room. It’s a great spot to take photos while wearing traditional clothing, which you can rent. The guard on the top floor was very kind.

Went today and the museum it was very nice and plenty of this to see and learn. Many prayers spots too and instructions. If you want to wear more traditional outfits you can't rent them for 350 baht with 100 baht more for accessories. It's 200 baht for kids. The tickets for adults are 400 baht. In my photos I showed alot of the art and some of the pray spots in my photos and videos. The souvenirs shop right before entering has a lot of good souvenirs at a low cost most are below 150 baht. Plenty of magnets, bottles openers, hats.

Somewhat divided place. It is something between amusement park, museum and a temple. Lot of creativity used when building the site. For example spoons and plates have been used to decorate the stairs. Still worth of visiting.

The grand finale is to climb the stairs all the way up inside the copper elephant where you can find temple.
