I struggle to see how this place ended up on Michelin’s bib gourmand. It did seem a bit like a tourist’s trap. I’m disappointed Michelin didn’t do a better job vetting the place. The food was fine but nothing exceptional for a large premium in price. The lobster was comparable in price to what you pay in the US, but nothing special. We spent $120 USD for 2 people. We also ordered the lobster with salt and pepper but got something entirely different. I recommend going to any other Thai places along the street. Much better food there including sea food.

The food was ok but we hoped the food would taste more. The scallops were not good and I whould not recommend them. The Wagyu Beef Curry was really tasty and the last shrimp dish was to spicy and we really like spicy food but it was a bit much.

Southern Food with Disappointment Due to Hygiene Issue

We visited this Southern food restaurant with high expectations, as the dishes looked promising. The food itself was good, but for some reason, the flavors weren’t as strong as we expected. It felt like they might have toned it down to suit a wider range of palates, especially with the influx of foreigners.

However, the experience took a turn when I found  hair on my Squid plate, which completely ruined the meal for us. It was a shocking hygiene issue that we couldn’t overlook. While we were disappointed, we did appreciate the LGBT staff member who came to apologize. The restaurant also offered a 10% discount but it didn’t quite make up for the unpleasant incident.
