Easy 5/5 stars! This hotel was outstanding in every possible way. The location is stunning, the staff is INCREDIBLE, the food is delicious and rooms and facilities are unreal. I have stayed in many luxury hotels in my life and the level of service here is completely unmatched. The hotel is incredibly well-staffed and the staff is gracious, friendly and attentive. Every detail is personalized. If you have the chance to stay here, don’t miss it.

Came for lunch and decided to stay at their pool, paying the daily pass they offer. The food at the Pla Pla restaurant was very mediocre. What’s worse is the service. I have been to many 5 stars, especially in Thailand. This was by far the worst I received for this price point. The staff wasn’t attentive, the cocktails were made really badly and had to ask them to remake them a couple of times. Really didn’t feel like a 5 stars experience. I have stayed at a couple of Banyan Tree properties, which cost much less, but the service and quality of food and drinks was far superior. It is quite a shame as the location is very nice.

So worth to splurge when you come to Koh Samui!
5 stars for the villa, view, service, staff, food, and facilities.

We received complimentary upgrade to Island Pool Villa and birthday cake because we arrived exactly on my birth date.
The villa is impeccable with one of THE most comfortable hotel bed by far. The staffs are so kind and friendly, their service is so well thought even to the smallest thing (like putting the TV remote by side of the bed in the evening and leaving it by the TV in the afternoon, the sweets left 1 day before we leave the hotel). We've stayed at various 5 star hotels & private islands yet FS Koh Samui is definitely one of our best stay.

The breakfast buffet didn't have hundreds of dishes like usual hotel buffet yet the quality of each dish is so great it's restaurant worthy. I'd choose quality over quantity at any times. On the side they offer breakfast ala-carte menu which were also delicious.
We had dinner at Koh Thai and it does not disappoint! I requested for roti (not in menu) to go with my curry, and the chef made it for us.

They have daily free activities everyday, do check it out. We did free photoshoot and it was so well done.

One minor downside is the beach area. It's a bit shallow even during high tide and full of stones & dead corals so if you enjoy swimming in the sea / snorkeling, you have to go a bit far.
During low tide and with Koh Samui sun, the sea water nearer to beach was at least almost 40 degree. The beach pool water temperature was also rather warm, but we enjoy our villa's pool!

All I can say is wow!, we’ve stayed at some of the best hotels around the world and many noteable four seasons hotels but this has to rank as number 1. Everything was incredible, rooms, service, beach, and layout. I would recommend this hotel to absolutely everyone. We can’t wait to come back.

Went for lunch, it was awful! I asked for prawn spring rolls which came out as Vietnamese rice paper rolls, i then asked them to correct it and they came out with vegetable spring rolls not prawn!
I also confirmed that my burger would be cooked well done and that it was not a brioche bun as they make me ill or i would have happily ordered something else. What came out still had a pulse and was in a brioche bun! The food and service could not have been any worse. I ended up having a burger in 2 slices of white bread and long after all my friends were finished.
My friends also said their food was flavourless as my burger was!
I definitely expected better for a four seasons resort!
