It was very peaceful experience. They have total 12 elephant and each elephant has it's own story. This sanctuary allows this elephant to live peacefully and they are taken care in every parameter.
We have enjoyed without distrubing their space.
Also they served us with snacks and goodies.
Then we also fed the elephants.

Super awesome sanctuary, focused on rescuing elephants used in the tourist riding, logging, and performing industry. You learn a lot about how much trauma and pain has affected these animals in the past, and how important it is for them to have a safe and healthy lifestyle now. Incredible team of people who care about each and every one of these elephants, and the food they offered was amazing as well.

What an amazing experience! They picked us up from the hotel. When we arrived, they gave us wellies and socks to wear. We then had 20 mins to look around and grab a drink. After we watch an introductory video about elephant tourism and what this sanctuary is trying to do to help. Afterwards, we got to feed to elephants, and our guide led us around the park. Beautiful animals, beautiful place

Wonderful place for elephants rescued out of the logging industry or circus shows to retire in peace. Excellent breakfast and lunch and guided tour. Very nice morning.

Amazing experience. We did the 1.5 hour Canopy Walkway (they did take us down for around 10 mins). The elephants roaming freely around 10s of acres, they have a dedicated mahoot with them at all times as their personal caretaker who live onsite. They are never forced to go near people, no bathing, no riding. It's not 100% no touch as you do get to feed them near the end but again it's not forced, the elephants come to the food of their own free will as this was important to us when booking a sanctuary as we do not agree with riding/bathing. There was no use of hooks, absolutely no chains which was good to see. You also learn the history of PES by short documentary at the beginning which was actually quite emotional to see due to what these elephants have been subjected to in the past (logging, dancing, painting, riding etc). Definitely recommend. It is a little more expensive than other sanctuaries but you can tell the money is put into the sanctuary and elephants
