Outstanding hotel. Staff are so friendly and attentive. Facilities in room were definitely 5* turn down service was very high standard. Breakfast buffet was vast. Had gluten free section with cereals, breads, muffins and energy bars. Plenty of options for food and drink. Cocktails were really good. Shuttle boat such a fantastic amenity to have provided.

If I could award this hotel 4.5 stars I would. So many excellent details and a really chilled atmosphere, beautifully designed, and the staff? Amazing! Nothing is too much trouble, and they were all incredibly professional while maintaining that typically Thai upbeat positivity.

The only downsides are that the pool and pool area are too small to comfortably cater for the number of guests, and the hotel’s location can is so far out of town, and on the opposite bank of the river to where nearly all of the ‘must visit’ places are.

Yes, the free river shuttle is a fabulous benefit,  but the boat journey takes 20-30 mins and terminates a further 30-40 minutes walk away from the city’s best highlights, so you’ll spend a large chunk of your time in transit.

Recommended, but with some slight reservations.

The service and staff at this hotel are what truly make it exceptional. They are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, offering a level of hospitality that stands out compared to many other hotels in Thailand. While the rooms felt a bit outdated, the food, service, activities, and the overall stunning hotel grounds were excellent. Highly recommend!

Great room, but food is subpar!

Enjoyed the room. Comfortable, somewhat cosy and gives off a warm feeing. Riverview recommended! Minor thing I noticed is there was no plug in the bathroom for hairdryer, had to dry my hair in the room, meaning no access to a mirror.

Big hotel, so appreciated the size of the pool - never felt overcrowded and really liked there was a proper deep end (3m), which is rare for hotels these days. Swim-up bar always a plus too!

Poolside dining however disappointing quality. Nothing truly bad, just really not up to standards. Bland burger and sandwiches and even the Thai food lacked spices and seasoning. Wine selection somewhat limited too.

Trader Vic's again, just real subpar food. Quality just isn't there.

Breakfast buffet super busy, suggest you go before 830am or you may be queueing. Counted 20 pax in the queue at one point. Coffee is terrible, and had to ask staff 3x for my tea. It's "feeding the masses" so don't expect top service. Buffet mostly decent - lots of variety including Korean (many Korean guests).

Appreciated the spa was a "retreat" like sanctuary and enjoyed the foot massage. Busy spa, so do book in advance!

Staff throughout other parts of hotel are excellent!

If the food were at the usual 5 star Anantara level I'd come back, but some improvements needed!
