In itself, the setting is beautiful and everything that follows is great, but there was one huge negative that spoiled the experience.

I'd been traveling for a few weeks in Thailand and had never had a problem with my credit card. When I got there, it was impossible for them to make me pay by card. So they asked me for cash. The only problem is that the cash is in town, so you have to get there on a scooter. That's what I do the next day, even though I'm on vacation. I have to hire a scooter at the hotel at my own expense to withdraw the money to pay them. On my return, no apology, no thanks, no discount and no refund for the scooter rental. A few weeks later, I saw that the amount had been debited from my bank account. My account is in the red, so I'm paying a fee, but I figure the hotel will be reactive. Not at all, they just tell me that they don't have access to my bank details and that it's impossible. Except that the transaction was made in cash and by card and I have proof of everything. Now, after 2 months, I still don't have my money and the hotel hasn't replied. So I've paid nearly €1,000 for two nights in this establishment and got myself into financial trouble with my banks.

All the staffs are so nice and have a brilliant service mind. Hotel room is really comfy and cute with contemporary design. Clean and cozy.
Only thing that i want you to improve is the road in front of the hotel is quite rough and hard to get in. But it’s only a lil point. All good

Overall a nice hotel, but the photos are prettier than reality. The bathroom, in particular, is not very well-maintained. The service is generally good, but the staff speaks little English. Additionally, the path to the hotel is not in good condition, making it difficult to reach by scooter.

I booked for Hideout through a third party - and unfortunately the booking was fake.
So I arrived today, and the hotel is full.
The staff have been AMAZING getting things sorted and helping me. They’ve found me another place to stay and even arranged for that resort to collect me. So kind, and I’m so grateful.

For what it’s worth; I popped down to the restaurant/bar area and I plan to come back. It looks amazing.

The stay was good. It’s a real hide out so if you seek that then it’s the perfect location. It’s 2km from the nearest road, stores and restaurants so you either have to walk or rent a scooter. The road leading up to the hotel is rough and I wouldn’t walk there in the dark alone.
The rooms are good - the bed is comfortable (if you like a hard mattress), it has enough light. The sink is outside the toilet. There is no storage space for your bags or to unpack.  There are enough electric sockets. The fridge is full with water, snacks and soda and is free for grabs. The fridge is quite loud. The AC was quiet and very good. You need to get used to the amount of insects and geckos outside (and sometimes inside) your room (they do like to talk :)).

The staff is amazing, very friendly and attentive. The pool is nice. The restaurant is okay- some dishes are very good; some are very bland. It’s around 100 baths more expensive for anything you buy at the hotel when compared to street prices. Fresh coconut was 120, and 2km further it’s 50. The beach is nice, but very rocky so it can be difficult to enter. There are free kayaks and paddle boards.

They offer massages, but it was not the best experience. It takes place at the beach, so you have to strip down naked in front of people, and everyone can walk around. 800 bat for oil massage is pretty high. The massage was okay but you could feel that they were rushing it.

Overall, a good stay but it was a bit too “hideout” for me - would love to have more options closer rather than relay on the restaurant or walk 30 min in the heat.
