Incredible staff, very welcoming and helpful.  Any time we needed suggestions they were happy to assist and we were happy each time.  Wonderful location easy to access from the airport, but still right next to the most important sites.  Quiet with wonderful views.  We purchased with the breakfast and it was fresh and filling each morning.

What a gem of a hotel! So much to cover so let me break this into category

The hotel: beautiful exterior and lobby. Their diner (which is there breakfast buffet as well) just simply stunning. Everyone from kitchen staff were constantly punctual making sure the tables were clean for the next guest to use

The room: we stayed on the 4th floor and it did not disappoint. Heated floors in the bathroom, towel heater on the wall. Very well kept

The staff: everyone exceeded expectations but I would like to give a heavy recognition to one in particular (look at picture). This man has a great sense of humor and goes above and beyond to keep their customers beyond happy. On behalf of myself, thank you for a wonderful memory

The reception staff are very professional, friendly, and accommodating; they were the best.

The rooms are spacious, but unfortunately, there is no sound isolation at all.

The housekeeping service is good, but the staff would still knock on the door even when the 'Do Not Disturb' sign is in place.

The towels are too old and do not meet the standards expected of a 4-star hotel.

What you need to know about this hotel is that the staff will welcome you and treat you like family. They go above and beyond to make you feel at home. Very warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hotel is located in a charming neighborhood with nice views to the ocean side. The rooms are what you would expect from a nice hotel: clean, cozy, and comfortable. What adds value to this hotel is the staff, even the property owner will greet you. They are an amazing team: Melike, Salih, Luiba, Mustafa, Ibrahim, Asya, Sezgin, Selvi, Zehra, and I'm sure I'm forgetting someone, but know that I am very grateful to all of you. You made my stay in Istanbul that much better. I visited three different hotels. My first stay was at GLK. I left after a few days and moved on to the new booking at the next hotel. I ended up going back to GLK the same afternoon. That's how different this hotel staff is. Simply Amazing whether you are traveling alone or with family. Congratulations to the property owner for selecting the team that you've got working there. They are the spirit of the place.

This was by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. €170 per night when we booked it during the Christmas season—an absolute joke given the state of the hotel. Their photos on Expedia are completely fake and do not reflect reality. The room was filthy, with dirty towels and black mold lining the windowsill. Heating doesn’t work and the heaters are making constant noise throughout the night. The so-called “executive suite” offered a view of a half-demolished, sketchy area—far from the advertised sea view. The front desk staff were rude. At one point, we witnessed the receptionist mocking and joking about a group of people who mistakenly arrived at the wrong location. (The hotel has another location just a few blocks away). It’s appalling that this hotel relies on tourists yet shows such disrespect to its guests. Avoid this place at all costs—it’s an experience you wouldn’t want to repeat.
