Sultan İbrahim (1640–1648) döneminde, Bağdat Köşkü ile Sünnet Odası arasındaki taşlığın kenarına bir çıkıntı şeklinde yapılmıştır.
Kameriye şeklinde olan tombak köşk, çıkıntı yapan konumuyla mermerlikten ayrılmış, alttaki bahçeler ile Haliç ve Galata’ya hakim bir konuma getirilmiştir.
Yaldızlı bakırdan dört sütunu olan Kameriye’nin çatısındaki alemde Besmele yazılıdır. İftariye Kameriyesi, adını padişahın ramazanlarda iftarı beklediği yer olmasından ötürü almakla birlikte yaz günlerinde gölgelik, yaz gecelerinde ise mehtaplık olarak kullanılmıştır.
Ramazan aylarında padişahların burada iftar ettiği düşünülür. Bu nedenle İftariye adını almış olmalıdır. Yaz aylarına rastlayan bayram törenlerinde padişahların Enderûnluların bayram tebriklerini burada kabul ettiği ve aşağı bahçede yapılan spor gösterilerini seyrettiği kaynaklardan anlaşılmaktadır.

The pergola-shaped tombak pavilion was separated from the marble floor with its protruding position and was placed in a position overlooking the gardens below, the Golden Horn and Galata.
Basmala is written on the finial on the roof of the Gazebo, which has four columns made of gilded copper. The Iftar Pergola takes its name from the place where the sultan would wait for the iftar during Ramadan, and it was used as a shade during summer days and as a moonlight place on summer nights.
It is thought that the sultans had their iftar here during Ramadan. For this reason, it must have taken the name Iftariye. It is understood from the sources that during the summer holiday ceremonies, the sultans accepted the holiday congratulations of the people of Enderun here and watched the sports shows held in the lower garden.
