A few days away with a friend in Istanbul. We stayed at a hotel just around the corner and decided to ‘stay local’ the first night. We came across this absolutely delightful small restaurant with amazing food
A real gem of a place
The owner and his nephew were just wonderful and helped us to pronounce ‘thank you’ in Turkish which took a lot of help!
We hadn’t planned to but …we ate there every night of our 5 night stay.
The menu is good and the food delicious.
We had to wait for a table one night and we waited in the next door kitchen area.
Great service and atmosphere….we joined in an impromptu party one night

The food was delicious, I am vegetarian and they have plenty of options! My boyfriend ate the casserole and it looked very good. But the absolute best was the katmer (pistachio pancake!!) must try!
Tea and appetizers were on the house.

We had a great dinner experience at Valley Hills Cafe & Restaurant. Very friendly service and great food. We especially enjoyed freshly made pomergranate juice !
Also fish soop & dish with lamb was great
Prices very affordable for this quality of food and service

They were so kind. They gave us an appetizer and dessert at the expense of the house, because they found out that it was our first night in Istanbul.  The food was great, highly recommended.

Very nice small family run cafe restaurant in the lovely back streets of Fateh Istanbul. Great place to eat and relax. Amazing guys working inside that will gladly let you relax and talk with them at all times. Food so succulent and tasty made fresh.
The owners nephew who greets you is an absolute amazing guy and very very accommodating. Recommend and we definitely will visit again soon
