We stayed 6 nights here in February and it is nothing short of amazing, the staff are all really friendly and always happy to help. The location is strategic, we could get to different parts of Istanbul with ease, although the hotel is located at a busy area, the rooms offer enough privacy and peace for a good night's rest. Our room has a nice huge terrace that offers great views!

Wow. I think this was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The staff were extremely helpful. We were welcomed at the reception, our room got upgraded for our first visit in Istanbul (which I know happens but still it was a nice touch). The two guys at the reception were amazing and gave us loads of tips on where to go and what to do. There was free coffee and tea at the reception and some biscuits. The room was big and had air conditioning. The shower pressure was amazing. There was a fridge and a mini bar (with clear pricing on it). It's fairly easily accessible from the airport via metro (M2 stops very close to it and you can get M11 from the airport to gayreteppe I think so it's a long journey but less expensive than a taxi!)

Fabulous stay with exceptional Service!

From the moment we arrived, the team at The Story Hotel went out of their way to make sure we felt welcome and cared for. As special mention goes to Mustafa, who is especially helpful, attentive and super friendly and went above and beyond to ensure all our requests and needs were catered to. Throughout the stay, he was always ready to provide excellent recommendations and assist with anything we needed.

We stayed in the spotless and very comfortable terrace room (including stunning views of the gorgeous harbour and Istanbul’s skyline!) with thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. The bed was super cozy and the spacious monsoon shower had great water pressure - a small detail, but it makes a difference.

The location was perfect: Nestled in the heart of the city, this hotel is perfectly situated near a top-notch public transport network, making it incredibly easy to get around and explore. Whether we wanted to visit local attractions or simply enjoy a leisurely walk through the city, everything was right at our doorstep. With subway stations, buses, and trams all within a few minutes' walk, it couldn't have been more convenient!

If you're looking for a hotel that combines exceptional service with a perfect location, look NO further. The location is absolutely unbeatable, and the staff’s attentiveness and kindness elevated the experience fur us even further! We cannot wait to return.

This hotel is in a great location in an alley right next to Istiklal street. So you can easily access restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The cookies and coffee in the lobby were a nice touch as well. The rooms were very clean and quiet and the staff welcomed us so well I was pleasantly surprised. I had never been welcomed in an hotel in such a friendly way before and it made us feel at home. It’s a smaller hotel so you really feel like you can ask the staff for any questions and guidance on anything really! They told us how to get to all the sights and gave us good restaurant  recommendations. They also gave us these post cards which was nice of them and it will always remind me of my great experience at the Story Hotel and ofc in Istanbul. Would come back for sure!

This hotel was a great find. We'll definitely be going back and recommending it to all of our friends. The service was amazing. The front desk gentlemen were super helpful in providing directions to where we wanted to go, arranged airport transfers, and good food recommendations. Great location - steps from Istiklal street, all the food and shopping, a short distance from Galata tower and all public transport.  We had a room that faced away from the alley so it was quiet and dark even though just steps away from all the action.
