I appreciated the comfort and warmth this hotel provided, both literally, in the cold weather, and figuratively, through its welcoming atmosphere. Staff was really helpful, radiating warmth and kindness. The room was quite compact, particularly the washroom, but the spatial arrangement functioned fine. Location was good- tucked away from the bustling streets and yet close enough to them. Breakfast was consistently good; while it lacked some variation, it was still tasty and filling.

The highlight of this hotel was the friendliness of the day receptionist and the owner. They both went the extra mile to ensure we were having a pleasant stay, even offering us a portable wifi and transport card. The room wad nice and cosy, however the bathroom could use a refurbishment. Breakfast was ok but nothing special. The free cocktail in the wonderful rooftop was a really nice gesture and lovely welcome. The hotel is located in a quite side street, which is great in order not to hear too much city noise, but at the same time well positioned to reach most attractions. We would come back again for sure!

We had a nice stay during our trip to Istanbul in the Walton Galata Hotel. The Owner as well es the whole team and the reception were very nice and helpful. They helped us booking a restaurenat with a sea view. The hotel itself is closed to the Galata tower and the tourist attractions. Thie hotel itself is located in an street with a lot of electronic craft stores. We liked it as it quiet during the night and give a kind if inside to turkish economy beside tourist atractions.

We (3 couples) stayed at this hotel for 4 nights from Sept 23 to 27. This hotel is very close to Galata Tower and with 10 mins of nearest tram station. The old city where major attractions such as Sultanahmet Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Basilica Cistern, Topkapi Palace are located are within 10 mins of the nearest tram station.
The breakfast was served on the rooftop restaurant and bar which also has a very nice view of the Hagia Sofia and Blue Mosque especially during the night. The rooms are quietly large with a very nice bathroom. The owner, Zeynep was really nice as she helped serve the breakfast and helped with everything from Transit card, mini Wifi modem to take along and recommending the attractions to see. She was very friendly and genuinely interested to help. Other staff at the hotel including Salim were also great. The hotel has a very small lobby area but it didn’t bother us at all. The closeness to major attractions, the Bosphorus river, nice rooms and friendly staff would make us recommend this hotel.

The hotel is so so, you can see that everything is unfinished. The rooftop bar/restaurant is open so the birds come.I think that because of that there isn't a buffet breakfast.the coffee in the hotel is terrible, but next door there is a small cafe place. The owner is very nice. The breakfast is allways the same.they bring you what you order. If you are staying more days it gets boring.The  cleaning lady touched my things.  I know what thing I put last in my cosmetic bag and it wasn't at the top. I had my own disposable slippers and they went missing, but were replaced by hotel ones. !?!? She threw away also some small cosmetic things that I was using like shower cap and didn't replace it. It's nothing but it's not ok to touch other person's things. The hotel manages is nice, but for me a little bit too nice. Kept sending messages on my phone. The photos of the hotel seem that everything is luxurious, but it's just a normal hotel. The area in the close proximity of the hotel is dark in the night, I would not recommend for solo travelers. It is up the hill so this can be a problem for people not used to it. We had a fridge but it didn't work. Every morning you can hear the prayers, the windows are not sound proof.
