The tomb of Suleiman "the Magnificent" as you can see in the entrance.
You will pass by a small cemetery before in the site area of Sultan tomb.
It was a solemn and quite place when I visited.
The mausoleum building itself is stunning and incredible architecture.
Outside of the mausoleum, you will read the life of the Sultan and Inside the mausoleum, you will find 7 sarcophaguses - Sultan is in the middle .
Like other mausoleum and the mosque, you have to remove the shoes.
It is open to everyone, no ticket needed

It's really worth reading up on the history of Suleiman the Great before visiting his mosque and tomb. He expanded the Ottoman empire to an incredible reach - stretching as far as Hungary and knocking on the doors of Vienna. And there was great intrigue at home, where he had his own son killed for a suspected plot against him. Many believe he was convinced of this plot by his wife, the incredible Hurrem Sultan, who lies in her tomb next to his. She climbed her way up from a slave brought from Ukraine to become one of the most influential women in the world. The death of Suleiman's son left the door open for Hurrem Sultan's son to ascend to the throne, the less than magnificent Selim the Sot (drunkard).

Nice area worth checking out outside of the mosque. There’s a cool garden near by and the whole area is maintained pretty nicely. It can get packed here since you have to take your shoes off to view the caskets in the building but it’s worth checking out and walking around

Inside of the Mausoleum of Suleiman the Magnificent situated behind the Suleymaniye Mosque that was commissioned by Sultan Suleiman I also known as Suleiman the Magnificent (1494-1566) and was built by Ottoman architect Mimar Sinan (c.1488/90-1588) in 1550-1557. It was the biggest mosque of Istanbul until 2019 when Camlica Mosque was built on the Asian coast of Istanbul. On the left, you see the tomb of Suleiman I. His daughter Mihrimah Sultan (1522-1578), and two later Sultans Suleiman II (1642-1691) and Ahmed II (1643-1695), Rabin Sultan (16??-1712) the wife of Ahmed II and Asub Sultan (1627-1690) the mother of Suleiman II are buried here too.
