Turist trap?
Very mixed feelings about this place. Nice view of the park. Large portion meal, and accommodating waiter, as most meals seems to be sharing platers for multiple people, but he told me they could make a smaller portion for one person.
But once the check came, I was charged 2/3 of the price of 2 persons, and on top, an additional charge, as I was ordering something "of the menu". Not fair.
How was the food? Minced meat was very good, and same for one of the chicken pieces. The lamp chop tasted wolly, the beef and one of the chicken pieces was overcooked, so dry.
Total price 1930 Lira for one person. Half price would have been okay, but this was definitely not worth it.

Outdoor seating area facing the historic Gulhane Park. Dine with the sights and sounds of nature. Food was delicious. Everything was delicious we just followed the recommendation of the staff. Price was resonable. If you are coming in from Sirkeci station, this place is a 2 minute walk. Just head to Gulhane Park Hotel reception they will show you the way. We had lunch here.

Firstly the views are good and it's always nice to have a beer with a view. I had an issue on receiving a beer that was pretty short so I asked for it to be topped up. The waiter didn't know what to do so took it over to management who just laughed saying he'd had a drink of mine and amazingly handed it back. Never in the thousands of bars I've been too has that happened before! Maybe it's a UK thing to not be short changed on a beer!

Everything was perfect, the staff is very nice and they are also very helpful.. thank you very much for good time, we will come back for 100% percent! :)
