I wish I could give this place 6 stars if I could! Amazing atmosphere, friendly staff, and wonderful food and drink. I wish I had more time in Istanbul so that I could've made a second visit 😭

Highly recommend the Fahriye cookies, which are mini cookies that they bake on the spot, which I've never encountered at a cafe before. As a result, they take around 15 minutes to come out, but the perfectly melty chewy goodness is worth the wait. Their Turkish coffee was also very solid, it went very well with the cookies.

There are outlets and a communal table for people working with laptops, as well as a wall of books for those looking to wind down and relax with a good book. If you're lucky, you may also get a stray cat or two pop in to say hi!

My family and I came here three times while visiting Kadikoy, and were obsessed with the Turkish breakfast, the vibe, and the staff! Nur is an absolute gem and made us feel so at home. Missing this place!

Fahriye holds a special place in Moda as one of the earliest cafés to open during the neighbourhood’s transformation through gentrification. Over the years, Moda has changed so much that even Fahriye now feels a bit old-school. Yet, its enduring charm lies in its consistently excellent coffee and high-quality service. With its cosy, relaxed vibe, Fahriye remains one of Moda’s finest spots to enjoy a great cup of coffee and unwind. A true classic that continues to stand out amidst the ever-evolving café scene.

Amazing place with cute ambiance! The cakes are exceptional and they offer one vegan and one gluten-free option:)) But personally I highly recommend the damla sakız cake.
Also there is no pressuring to leave. We stayed here for hours without getting dirty looks. Had an amazing time. Truly a hidden gem
