The Ritz-Carlton Istanbul is a beautiful hotel with spacious rooms that, while slightly dated, remain very comfortable. The bed was excellent, ensuring a restful night’s sleep.

The staff were incredibly attentive and polite, making our stay even more enjoyable. We arrived very early in the morning, and they efficiently arranged an early check-in for us, which we greatly appreciated.

The only downside was the breakfast. While the selection was decent, the presentation could be improved, and the quality of some products, especially the pastries, was a bite disappointing. A better selection of quality ingredients would elevate the experience.

Overall, a great stay with excellent service, but the breakfast offering could use some refinement.

I loved my stay - the quality was solid across the board and with small indulgent touches you would expect from a Ritz, eg a glass of champagne upon arrival. But what really makes this hotel shine is the staff - Bora Kup and his team really went the extra mile to make our experience a memorable one. I was there in the fall for my birthday with a friend and they treated us like queens, including very special touches like personalized birthday treat and chocolates. I can't wait to return!

I love everything about this hotel!  The staff were terrific and they went out of their way to accommodate any request.   For example,  my wife has special dietary needs and they made sure they were accommodated with a smile.    They even remembered our anniversary and brought up a special gift.  The breakfast was great and the Hamman experience was also amazing. The rooms are beautifully decorated and I look forward to returning again to this hotel !

This was the first bad experience I’ve had at any Ritz Carlton in the world. It actually makes me question the entire brand. My wife has an allergy to wheat that I noted prior to check in - we had items with the allergy sent to our room. I gave this first instance a pass but this was an issue the entire stay.

Room service came cross contaminated with the allergy after specific instructions about the allergy.

Went to the club level and was treated very rudely (by a manager no less) when I asked about an item’s ingredients. To be clear, I consider rolling eyes and scoffing to be rude. I was then told something didn’t have the allergy in it, and then upon consumption and asking it did have wheat. Really not acceptable or safe.

Worse yet - we went to the main restaurant on the first floor and the allergens listed for the same items were inconsistent from the club level. If you have an allergy I wouldn’t consider this hotel management equipped to take it seriously, safely, or respectfully.

Stayed all across Eastern Europe on this trip at 2 star and 5 star locations - every single 2 star hotel beat this hotel in service quality.

From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the level of service and attention to detail at this hotel. The staff greeted me with warm smiles and genuine hospitality, making me feel welcome right away.

The room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully designed – everything from the plush bedding to the high-end toiletries screamed luxury. I especially appreciated the little touches: complimentary snacks, a handwritten welcome note, and lightning-fast Wi-Fi.

The amenities were top-notch.  The breakfast buffet was phenomenal – fresh, diverse, and absolutely delicious.

But what really stood out was the staff. Every team member went above and beyond, whether it was helping with dinner reservations, offering local recommendations, or just checking in to ensure everything was perfect. Special SHOUTOUT TO SELCUK,FURKAN AYHAN,AYSUN, MUHAMMETE, GORHAN ( Chef), BORA and Levent
. Our son is allergic to ALL NUTS , we just had to tell them once at check-in and we were blown away with the care and proactive measures that the staff took to ensure that our son is safe was just astounding..  BEST IN THE WORLD !!!! If you're looking for a flawless, five-star experience, look no further. I can't wait to come back – this hotel has truly set a new standard for excellence.
