This was quite literally one of the best hotel and residence experiences that we have ever had. everything from the check-in to check out was five star. Our bags were waiting inside our residence, the bellhop gentlemen were fast and courteous— helping us also to book a car and anything we needed. The residence apartment itself where we stayed was a 2 bedroom 2 bath, sea view balcony exceptionally clean, spacious, well appointed, modern and up to date. The front desk staff, specifically Bursa Candan, worked with me before arrival to organize a special birthday welcome for my mother. It was absolutely perfect. We really didn’t want to go sightseeing outside of the hotel because the resort itself was such a joy to stay in. The lobby is grand and magnificent. My Kid enjoyed the indoor pool facilities - the waters were warm and the staff came around and brought waters and a robe for my Kid. The restaurant Ceres was a 6/10 for the dinner — we didn’t “love” it but it was ok. However, the breakfast at Ceres was a 10/10. The executive lounge was 10/10. The other restaurant venues including room service were definitely a 10/10. I particularly enjoyed the Vitola lounge and room service. The housekeeping staff were amazing. They were like ninjas cleaning our apartment quickly, efficiently and thoroughly. Melisa answered all of my questions at the spa and I was delighted to book a half day— it was everything! I enjoyed the steam room and sauna, the hammam, the massage and the facial services along with the staff the facilities—Everything was relaxing, heavenly, smelled wonderful and clean. I wasn’t looking for something bad to happen, but I wouldn’t have been surprised because it happens. BUT EVERYTHING was the best! Anything awry, they fixed with a smile on their faces! These moments matter so much as it helps to create beautiful memories. This experience was an absolute joy, and the only downside… the only negative thing I can say about the place is that we had to leave. Thank you to the wonderful staff if JW Marmara. We will definitely visit again. I absolutely recommend this place.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Marriott Hotel for a week during a business trip, and it was truly an exceptional experience. The atmosphere of the hotel is warm and inviting, making it a perfect place to relax after a long day. The rooms are incredibly comfortable, well-equipped, and designed with great attention to detail, ensuring a restful stay.

What truly sets this hotel apart is its outstanding staff. I would like to give special recognition to Kemal, whose responsiveness and flexibility made my stay even more enjoyable. He went above and beyond to accommodate all my requests, always with a friendly and professional attitude.

Thanks to this wonderful experience, I am already looking forward to returning—this time for a leisure trip with my wife. I highly recommend this hotel to both business and leisure travelers!

Incredible hotel with beautiful views and world-class service.

I was a little ill during my stay and the staff did everything from bring extra bath salts to herbal teas at all hours of the night to help me recuperate. The concierge was world class and helping me get to a doctor and to various places throughout Istanbul to make the most of my trip. One caution is the property is a bit outside of the city center, but if you’re here in the summer, you’ll have incredible ocean views, and no matter the time of year it’s just a short train ride into the city center. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel and hope to be back soon.

We had the most amazing two-night stay at the JW Marriott Hotel Istanbul Marmara Sea. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a thoughtful in-room welcome that set the tone for our stay. The check-in process was smooth and professional, with the staff offering a well-executed upsell presentation and useful recommendations for things to do in the area. The team here is truly polished, well-trained, and proactive, making sure every need was met with a smile; clearly management are listening to the guest and staff needs.
The room itself was a perfect retreat, featuring fluffy bathroom towels, impeccable cleanliness, and little details like cable ties for electronic devices that made everything feel organized. I loved the ample storage space and thoughtful touches, such as remembering the second guest's surname and the jewelry box storage in the safe – these small details really make a big difference.
After a day of exploring, we thoroughly enjoyed the steam room, sauna, and pool – the perfect relaxation spots. The gym is fully equipped, with excellent options for both functional training and cardio.
Breakfast was a highlight – an endless array of choices, but the standout for us was the delicious chicken soup, brimming with spices and fresh vegetables. It was the perfect start to the day! Never had or will have a better breakfast.
Listening to the sea breeze at night from our room was truly calming, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel made it such a memorable experience. On our late arrival, we also enjoyed a lovely dinner at Ceres Restaurant, which was a great way to kick off our stay.
This hotel exceeded all expectations, and I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Istanbul! Highlight really was the dedicated staff who are guest centered focused.
