The staff here (and in other Klein group clubs in Istanbul) aren't exactly known for their warm hospitality. Their attitude towards customers often falls short of the welcoming Turkish hospitality you might expect, whether you're at the door getting your ticket checked or inside trying to enjoy yourself. We saw a few people with tickets being turned away at the entrance, apparently because of how they looked or what they were wearing. Once you're inside, there are so many bodyguards staring at you that it's hard to relax and have fun - it's not clear what they're actually guarding against.

The worst part of this place is that they allow smoking inside. After a couple of hours, you end up smelling like a giant walking cigarette. By the end of the night, it gets really bad - the smoke builds up and your eyes start stinging if you're not used to it.

If you can overlook the staff's attitude, dress fancy enough to get in, manage to ignore the bodyguards, and don't mind sacrificing your health for 4-5 hours, you can actually have a great time and enjoy the music.

Horrible experience, never visit this place. I was on Jan Blomqvist on 15 Feb 2025. Spent one hour in a line with 150 euro backstage ticket, frozen. Sound was bad. Drinks were rediculously expensive - 15 euro for one Jager shot.

Extremely Disappointed - The Worst Club Experience Due to Smoking

I am absolutely shocked by how Klein allows smoking inside the club. It’s not just a fire hazard - it’s a complete nightmare for non-smokers. With every hour after the DJs start playing, the air becomes unbreathable. My eyes and nose start streaming, and by the end of the night, I have a splitting headache.
Being in this club felt like torture. People chain-smoke non-stop - one cigarette after another and when hundreds of people do this in a packed space, the air turns into a toxic cloud. We can’t breathe and enjoy at all!

Why should non-smokers suffer just because others want to smoke? Klein has an area near the restrooms and outside. Why not make that the only smoking zone? Or, even better, keep smoking outside like in any civilized venue. This level of disrespect towards guests is unbelievable.

If you’re a non-smoker or someone who values breathing clean air, avoid this place unless you want to spend the next day recovering from headaches.

Great club overall, fantastic lighting, good sound quality and effort in the visuals. The club is outside of the city centre but easy to get a taxi to. To contextualise this comment me and my parter are from the UK and we really missed not having a outdoor area/smoking area. As you are allowed to smoke indoors at Klein Phonix a smoking area/outdoor area does not exist - this changes the experience as for us this is the best place to socialise and meet other ravers from across the world. There are also no seating areas at all in the venue, the only seating they have is in VIP and in the privately booked areas so be prepared to be on your feet all night!
This venue is all in one big room. Clean toilets, friendly security. Males cannot enter without a female - this is a 1:1 male/female club

Great atmosphere inside since they rebuild and expanded the venue. Events are great music is better than most of the clubs right now in my opinion. If you love a good DJ set this the place to go. Cocktails are around 700 TL.
