The location of the hotel was really convenient,
located right in front of the metro. We enjoyed our stay here with reception being really friendly and spoke english well. They also gave us a free upgrade which was a really nice experience. We definitely would stay here again when returning to Istanbul. The breakfast was really tasty with many different food options.

The only downside was the rooms got quite warm as the rooms are controlled by the hotel and the heaters were always switched on. Despite us using the thermostat, the room would be warm at night.

Such a beautiful hotel and wonderful location! I can’t say enough good about it. It was a great area, never felt unsafe and I wanted to stay longer than planned ◡̈ I had a lovely view of táksim square while others had view of the water and of the rest of the city. The pool and sauna are a CANNOT MISS - and I wish I had looked into the Hamman. My only suggestion would be to close the blinds if facing the square as it’s very lit up well into the night.

Mixed feedback after our four-night stay here. Definitely not even close to being a 5-star hotel. Quick highlights:

PROs:
- Location - centrally located in Taksim square, walkable to several attractions and the local market with plenty of excellent food options.
- Rooms were clean and upkeep was good. Decent room size with a couch and table/chair. Bathrooms are spacious as well.
- Excellent fitness center with plenty of new and well-maintained machines. There's also a yoga studio, outdoor pool, full club style showers. Impressed with this part of the hotel.

CONs:
- Breakfast was super crowded, perhaps due to the holiday season. Hostess told us that we wouldn't be able to have breakfast because it was so crowded. We decided to wait for 20 min or so before we got a table. Sheer madness at the buffet.
- Service was average at best. Reception folks need to understand that they're in the hospitality business, and not working as cashiers. I agree with another reviewer, the morning person at reception during checkout was just plain rude and ill-mannered.

Overall hotel seems crowded and it's not really up to the mark. Maybe a low 4-star hotel rating would be fine, but it's most definitely not a 5-star hotel.

Old room but clean, we had a room with sea view. On Booking was looking fabulous but when we entered there we regret that we payed already for 3 days.
Is a 4 star + hotel but the room was like a -3 stars one. A little dissaponted.
These rooms need to be renovated !!

First, it was a bad experience I didn’t really like the hotel or the service was bad specially, the service in the reception. They are not kind at all. They are so mean. It was some drinks, and snacks they didn’t tell us that it was paid, so we did use them, but in the end when we want to go, they told us to pay all this Like all of that was an extra charge (in a mean way), and they didn’t want to explain to us. they just told us to pay and without telling us the reason also the reception service Call us by landline phone in 2 AM we were sleeping and they bother us. They call two times…. It’s really annoying and it’s disrespectful to their customers. By the way, The cleaning service was good. They were kind and the breakfast service also was great.(I don’t advise anyone to come to this hotel it’s really bad.)
