The place was beyond my expectations. Food is representing the original recipes of real traditional Turkish cuisine. It was interesting as a Turkish citizen to see the link of core dishes with regions and their history, I am sure it would be very exciting for tourists who would like to see the authentic Turkish dishes. They have a nice view which you can feel the spirit of Sultanahmet. Waiters and waitresses are super kind and friendly, they are presenting the menu nicely. It was one of a kind experience which I will repeat whenever I come to Sultanahmet! It is Michelin recommended yes but heartfelt recommended by me ☺️

Please don’t be fooled by this restaurant boasting they are Michelin recommended!
Not worth the money!! Food was terrible.
I just wrote to Michelin guide as well about our very disappointing experience.. our dishes were served barely warm, food was flavorless, so oily and the meat was tough. Even the Bread was hard and dry!! Nothing seemed freshly made.
The Mosque’s chanting which sounded as if it was inside our open air restaurant went on and on, it was SO loud AND disruptive during our dinner.
We poured our  wine and water the entire time because not once did they come to our table to check on us or ask if they could get us anything else. Looking around I could see it wasn’t just us..
I would not waste my money at this restaurant!

Came here at the recommendation of a local and noticed it was a Michelin Guide recommendation and then also noticed the positive reviews online.

The reviews here are correct.

The price and quality of the food was superb. Fast friendly service. Felt very comfortable as a foreigner. Credit card payment with no problems.

I would anybody recommend.

The place is memorable. My experience here was excellent. The atmosphere, the food (portions are really great as well), service and stuff were super friendly and attentive. I will definitely come again when I’m in Istanbul.

Truly an essential stop in your journey through Istanbul. The decor and atmosphere take you back to the sultan era yet the staff brings your right back to a place of comfort and warmth. Had an amazing experience and will come back again. The food was phenomenal as expected for a Michelin star restaurant.
