We came to Old Hipodrom 3 nights in a row as their food is amazing and they had beer and wine. Not every restaurant in this area serves alcohol so this was the most convenient for us to have great food (and quite the selection such that I had a different main course each evening) and drinks in the same place! Their service was also amazing and they provided several complimentary items with our meals such as hot bread, mezze, Turkish tea, and delicious Turkish delight!! We bought a massive box of Turkish delight to bring home with us too! Highly recommend visiting this restaurant!

I was kinda afraid of the 5 star reviews. But I can confirm it isn't a scam! The restaurant has really good turkish food. Even if it is small, it has a nice atmosphere, good food and variety (they have vegetarian and even vegan options too). The prices are okay, however note they aren't the cheapest. They offer free meze in the beginning. At the end they also bring free tea.

I chose this place because of previous good reviews. Prices were fair,  no additions on the check or misunderstanding with the food. Staff was very attentive, food was very good, loved the lentil soup and we did get complimentary tea with our dessert.

Great food and amazing service without being ripped off 😁. The staff is very friendly! I totally recommend this restaurant!
