Loved this place so much I came here twice in one week. Found this place via the Michelin guide. The cold appetizers, in particular, were my favorite. The artichoke in olive oil was tender and flavorful. The string beans were perfect, and the eggplant with potatoes was a delightful combination of textures and flavors. Sade Beş Denizler in Nişantaşı is an simple yet amazing restaurant!
We dined here almost every day for the two weeks we were in Istanbul. The staff (especially Emre!) were incredibly attentive and helpful.
The menu offers a variety of Turkish dishes, prepped in a way a mother would, and we tried almost everything and it was all amazing.

The only downside is that they are closed on Sundays, which were the only days we couldn’t enjoy the food. Highly recommend!

Delicious, excellent service and passionate cooking. 6 stars out of 5. I had a delicious tamarind drink which I believe was freshly made. I could not finish the lamb course, I just took it out the takeaway box and it is still succulent. Red peppers with bread were so tasty, I nearly ordered a bottle of wine with my MEAL. The portions are so big that we absolutely over ordered. Plenty of amazing choices to sample. A little loud and outdated in decor but the food made up for it.
