Ok experience. A little underwhelmed to be honest. There was a disconnect between the kitchen staff and the som. I had the wine pairing option and the food would be served first and then the wine instead of it getting served simultaneously. (Usually I prefer the wine first so I can take some time to learn the wine on the nose first.

Towards the end of the course, they forgot to explain some of the courses…we had to ask what it was.

No corkage was available, we brought our own wine from a winery nearby, it was a 2011 which would’ve been nice to open to share.

It would be nice if they can offer a customised tasting menu based on our preference. My friend wanted a seafood focus tasting menu but it didn’t seem like they can offer customization.

Food in general was good. Typical Michelin 1 star level. Staff were generally nice.

Food: relied a little too much on fresh ingredients and was not elevated enough. We got the chefs tasting menu and it was solid. What I will say a food experience like this is rare in Turkey but if you are trying to compete with international elevated chef’s tasting menus at michelin star restaurants the food falls a dash short yet they can get there

Worth the short detour outside of Izmir to experience this restaurant! The service was phenomenal and the dishes were super inventive - every one has a unique story. They grow their ingredients in the surrounding garden so everything tasted extremely fresh.

The sommelier is quite knowledgeable - definitely recommend trying their Turkish wine selection! Sit at the chef’s table if you can!

They even helped us get a car transfer back to Izmir late at night. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Simply love this restaurant. This was our second visit and the food, the service and ambiance are just outstanding. In summer I highly recommend arriving 7-7:30pm so you can experience the beautiful olive tree garden as it shifts from day light to night fall.
Highly recommend visiting when visiting this area.
