Beautiful atmosphere, Live Dj, Amazing view 🫶😍

Appetizers were excellent
Small plates, not the best:
Tomato was tasteless
Yellowfin tuna carpaccio was a let down. The lemon was so overpowering, you can taste the fish!
The lamb skewer as per hubby was delicious but not for me.
Charred octupos was one of the best
Mains-they are all excellent
Desserts were outstanding!

Service needs to be improved, I sat for 20 minutes nobody came to even ask me to offer a drink or anything 🙄

• Mika was one of those restaurants you want to visit but always put off for ‘next time’ and you don’t know why. It’s very well located, right in front of Yas Marina, literally. So, it has the best possible view. I had heard that the restaurant is highly recommended for its food quality, so my expectations were high. But unfortunately we didn’t have the best experience with the food and drinks.

• We enjoyed the service, every staff was very attentive to us and very friendly, no complaints about that. The place is large and very modern, both inside and outside, with a nice ambiance. You can see the kitchen in action from your table, which is a cool touch. The bar is very nice as well.

• As starters, we ordered the COD Croquettes (40 AED) and the SC House Cured Salmon (60 AED), both flavorful. Croquettes were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, however, we wanted more, three is a really small portion. The main dishes were a disaster for us, honestly. The Lamb Tacos (95 AED) and the Octopus on Coal (110 AED) didn’t seem like main dishes. The octopus was well-cooked but lacked good flavor, the smashed potatoes were undercooked and hard, and the plate used looked like a soup plate, and was also too small. And while the tacos were good, two modest pieces are not enough for a main dish, and the plate used was small as well. The drinks were another frustration. The Provenance Negroni (65 AED) was disappointing, not good in flavor (they use Martini’s vermouth), no ice pro in the glass to finish and the herbs from ‘Provenance’ overpowered the taste. The mocktail Mika-nos (45 AED) was too sweet for my liking.

First time at Mika restaurant a couple of days ago and definitely won’t be the last.  The setting of the restaurant is absolutely beautiful.  The staff were all very attentive and helpful.  The food was absolutely amazing.  It was so tasty.  We opted for small plates and large plates and shared them all.  Stand out dishes for me personally were the freshly baked bread with dips, calamari, feta cheese with honey, cod croquettes, beef ragu and the large plate prawns.  The oozing chocolate tart and the basque cheesecake went down a treat for dessert.  Chef Mario and his team have certainly got this right as the restaurant was very busy and had a great buzzing atmosphere.  It’s a must try restaurant in my honest opinion.  I will definitely be going back for more.  I need to try the brunch and the breakfast menu.  If you want Michelin quality food at affordable prices don’t hesitate to give this place a try.  Well done Mika restaurant a great new addition to the area.

I absolutely love this spot and highly recommend visiting during their happy hour. It’s quiet, photogenic, and their cocktails are fantastic. Plus, the fact that they're pet-friendly is a great bonus

This is our fourth time visiting this restaurant and we are delighted every time. We were warmly welcomed by the hostess, who made us feel right at home. The service throughout the meal was excellent, with attentive and friendly waiters ensuring everything was just right. The food was absolutely delicious, with each dish thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. Overall, it's our favorite place and we will definitely be back!
