We visited for dinner and had an incredible experience! We ordered the tummy yum soup, fried calamari(which was unfortunately not crispy), garlic-infused mussels, and a beautifully grilled sea bass. We also enjoyed shrimp noodles and fried Hamour fish, prepared Thai-style by the chef himself. Every dish was outstanding, full of flavor, and perfectly cooked – one of the rare times I’ve been completely satisfied with a seafood meal. Thank you, Fish Market, for a memorable dining experience!

Ate here for dinner as a guest of the hotel. It had a beautiful view of the bay. The select your own seafood might be a good concept if you are with someone or want a large meal, but it was difficult for me to get some smaller portions for 1 person.  I ordered the mushroom soup, but the portion was enormous for one person and they did not have a smaller portion available. The server didn't explain how big the soup portion was. The prawns were good, but I would have enjoyed a small salad or side with them for variety. There just wasn't a good selection of smaller dishes. I didn't go back, as I found a seafood restaurant 15 minutes from the hotel with a fixed menu where portion sizes were reasonable and I was able to get a nice variety of food for 1 person at an equivalent price.

You must try this restaurant if visiting Abu Dhabi. You don’t have to be at the hotel to book a table here. We loved the concept of no menus. Staff were brilliant and helped us with the concept - we probably over ordered and it can get pricey if you’re not careful, try not to get swept up in wanting to try it all 🤣
Obviously the choice is incredible and everything looked delicious and I can confirm it tastes even better. You pick the fish and they walk round with you and pop it in a basket, then you decide how it’s cooked, pick a sauce and any sides and then lastly all the fresh veg and again tell them how you’d like it cooked.
It’s Michelin recommended and we can why! Absolutely brilliant - we said we’d go back to Abu Dhabi just for this restaurant!😅

We were not guests of the hotel, but we came here for lunch, and we were very glad we did.  Their seafood is very fresh!
Interesting concept of no food menu.  Instead, you pick your seafood from the displays and request it cooked to your preference (grilled, fried, etc). As well as the vegetable.  You can order some soup or sides though.  We specifically chose UAE fish.
Very friendly staff, they were patient and explained everything to us.  A very interesting experience for sure. Although my husband was a bit nervous about the impending bill since everything was market price (X per 100g) haha.
