Visited Bombay Bungalow at JBR for breakfast around 11 AM. The place wasn’t busy, which was nice, and the indoor and outdoor seating had a cozy vibe with lovely decor. However, the experience was a mix of highs and lows.

We ordered the Anda Parantha, which was delicious and definitely a highlight. The Aloo Parantha was good too, served with pickle and dahi, but the portion size was disappointing – only one parantha for the price felt unjustified. The biggest letdown was the Puri Bhaji. The puris were fine, but the aloo had no flavor at all, tasting like plain water. It didn’t even come with any pickle, which is a basic expectation. Requested for chutney and they gave the south indian tomato chutney.

The chai was just okay, nothing special. The overall quantity of the food felt too little for the price point. Service could have been better – the staff seemed limited, which might become an issue during busier hours.

In summary, the ambiance and Anda Parantha were great, but the food quality and portion sizes need improvement to justify the pricing.

Great food and an amazing ambience too! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Bombay Bungalow! The vibe was really nice next to JBR Beach and the food was great in taste and good in quantity!

We’d definitely recommend this place for a lunch/dinner or brunch outing!

Had a nice experience in front of beach. Food was delicious and guy from the restaurant Suresh from Nepal
