We went there on a recommendation from an acquaintance.
The restaurant had a lovely chic atmosphere.
But the results were a disappointment.

The food was all ordinary and mediocre.
There was nothing that I particularly liked, and I didn't like either the red or white wine.

The staff was not friendly and there were just flies flying in the restaurant.
I looked at the edge of the window and saw lots of ticks crawling around so I decided to go home.
If the food was delicious, I would have liked to order takeaway, but of course I gave up.

We didn't understand why our acquaintances recommended this restaurant.

Beautiful. Delicious. Grand. Celebratory. It’s my second time. Nice service. The only weird moment was when my husband ordered a drink from their cocktail menu, the waiter made an inappropriate comment by saying “are you sure? This drink is sweet. It’s usually ordered by ladies”. We brushed it off by taking it as a joke saying “haha it’s ok, it won’t hurt the masculinity to have a sweet drink for a change.” But it just felt odd. You don’t challenge customers choice. Especially not in a restaurant of such scale. Pasta was good. Tuna tartare too. Tartufo truffle Pizza was nice too, but felt like something is missing. Not that mind blowing. I even at some point felt like the one in Filia is even better. Also, when ordered our wine, a guy came back to serve and asked me “muscato for you?”. “No. Muscato not for me. Muscato for him. For me white wine”. It’s just those tiny little points… it’s just the two of us. Casual lunch. Bill nearing AED 1000. Maybe you can pay a little more attention and be a little less “assuming”and a little more focused ? :) but nevertheless, I love this place, I rate it 5/5. A nice touch with a chocolate box at the end. Super cute compliment with small doughnut-like desserts. Tiramisu was good, we couldn’t finish. Team was overall polite and friendly. Will come back again :)

As an Italian who no longer resides in Dubai, it was my first experience dining at this restaurant. I can assert with confidence that it’s the finest Italian restaurant Dubai has ever hosted. Every aspect was exceptional - the service, the food, and the authentically Italian ambiance. I wholeheartedly recommend it. ( la pasta con le vongole era pazzesca )
