The experience at the restaurant was fantastic. The complimentary valet service made accessing the venue incredibly convenient. We visited for lunch on New Year’s Day and were warmly greeted by a performer upon arrival, which set a welcoming tone. Our seating was outdoors, facing the Emirates Tower, and with the beautiful weather, the atmosphere was nothing short of perfect.

As for the food, it was exceptional—full of flavor and crafted with great care. A standout detail was the waiter explaining each dish before serving it, which added a thoughtful touch to the overall Hutong experience. I went to Hutong for their Imperial Brunch and unfortunately found the overall experience somewhat lackluster. The service, while not outright poor, left much to be desired. We often found ourselves having to refill our wine glasses, which detracted from the otherwise leisurely ambiance we were hoping for during brunch.

As for the food selection, it was average at best. While there were a few standout dishes, many felt uninspired or lacked the depth of flavor typically expected from a restaurant of this caliber. The choices on the menu seemed limited compared to other brunch spots, making it difficult to get excited about the offerings.

In summary, while Hutong has potential with its beautiful setting and concept, both the service and the food selection did not meet the expectations I had going into this dining experience. I hope they can improve on these aspects in the future.
