The Chedi has to be one of the most beautiful hotels in the UAE. It is set in the Heart of Sharjah historical area, and consists of a number of carefully restored former houses and other buildings. Whilst a little confusing sometimes to navigate, you soon find your bearings and as you walk around you witness carefully designed and elegant backdrops, oozing old-world charm and serenity. We came to totally unwind and managed to do that with ease. The food and service was sublime. Lots of little unexpected but highly appreciated moments of generosity and attention to detail. Thanks to all the highly professional Chedi team for a wonderful stay.

We had a lovely staycation at this hotel. It’s in a charming historical area, making it a perfect getaway from the city’s traffic while still being accessible. The rooms were spacious, and it’s very baby-friendly; they provided us with a bottle warmer, sterilizer, and diaper bin, which was a thoughtful touch. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of options. The only downside was that, while most of the staff were very friendly, the reception could have been more welcoming.

If I can give 10 stars, I would. Without exaggeration, This is hands-down the best hotel I have been to in my life. They went far and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Especially the nice lady at reception. I am so sorry I forgot her name😔. The staff were all super friendly. The concierge, reception and restaurant staff. Each and every one of them were extremely hospitable. The decor was phenomenal, very traditional but still has modern day amenities. The food was amazing, I especially loved their 7 spice chicken salad, and their waffles at breakfast. We tried their spa. The massage was great. Thank you The Chedi al Bait Hotel for making our stay extraordinary.

Positive: The hotel’s location is its strongest asset, providing easy access to key attractions and amenities.
Rooms: Unfortunately, the accommodations were disappointing. The rooms were noticeably dusty and in need of a serious refresh. A makeover would greatly improve the guests experience.
Restaurant: The dining experience fell far short of expectations. The food was consistently overcooked, and the staff appeared untrained and inattentive, which made the meals less enjoyable.
Breakfast: Our breakfast order was delayed and, when it finally arrived, it was cold. This left us with the impression of disorganized service and a lack of attention to detail. Our overall impression was that the hotel was operating under a budget cut.

We were relieved to check out, as the overall experience was far from satisfactory.

Very nice experience from the beginning mr Sansar was so helpful and polite with the bags, super kind. Then had a seamless check in process with some complementary drinks, the Arabic guy who checked us in was super friendly even gave us a follow up call to make sure everything was okay after checkin. Later went to NOMANI which is a Korean / Japanese restaurant in the hotel. It’s sooooo nice the food and the desert. Also the service is on point. Abbey was going out of her way to help and she was very professional and kind. 10/10 experience due to the staffs attention to detail. The next day went for breakfast which was so nice. In the top of all breakfasts I had in hotels, it’s unlimited order from the menu. So worth it and tastes amazing. Also all the staff and so kind and attentive. Mr Mohamed was serving us and he’s genuinely very kind and attentive. Such a nice employee, I think many can learn hospitality from his nature. Also Mr Barry was super kind and attentive. The hotel has really chosen the right staff.
