A small venue with a Michelin bib gourmand for xoi. The rice was a little fragrant and the toppings nice, quite tasty, the marinated stewed pork belly was lovely. The soup and pickled veggies were a welcome addition. A nice, modern take on xoi for a reasonable price.

The xoi (stick rice) was good - and somewhat an upgrade to the xoi available on the streets (both in quality - and price).

I'm not sure why they made the Michelin list because the place had no people (we were the only ones there at 11AM on a weekday).  Locals probably likely have a good reason not to go here. :)

PRO TIP:   The place is quite small - with only a few tables.  Not ideal for large groups.

FOOD & DRINKS
They only serve their signature dish but that is fine. I tried the recommend sticky rice with most of the toppings. It also came with a very light soup and some Vietnamese kimchi.
Taste and quality was pretty good.

Very friendly and nice.

ATMOSPHERE
Unfortunately it hasn't the large seating area outside anymore as it moved to a little store next to its original location. It's small but cute.

Get the xôi bát and you’re set. Delicious and quite affordable for a Michelin-starred establishment. The Limeade with lemongrass was also quite refreshing.

They said it is Michelins suggested restaurant, so I went to check it out.

As far as the food, it’s alright, nothing special… typical sticky rice with different kind of topping like meat balls, stewed pork, egg, etc. They have like a bowl of soup and a pickle veggie plate as a side dish as well. But the portion is abnormally big (which explains for the price, which is more expensive than expected for sticky rice in Vietnam). The sticky rice itself is moist, but doesn’t give off any aroma. While the topping (I got the stewed pork) was too much, with too much fat.

This place is quite small, can fit only 4 tables. However, I guess it’s okay as it was empty when we get there on a Saturday night, at around 7pm.

The place also don’t have a security guard in the front, so you basically park at your own risk as well.

And to me, I am not impressed with the setting of this place… I guess it’s just personal references.
